I recently listened to Marshall Rosenberg’s short talk on money and it changed my view of charging for services. I noticed that the fee agreement in my personal business is a demand rather than a request – but flexibility on my fee agreement would require self-trust.
I’ve tried to liberate myself from the world economic system and remove the words, “charge,” “pay,” and “worth” from my vocabulary. -Marshall Rosenberg
In his short talk, Marshall reminds us that money is a strategy to meet a need; not the need itself. Money meets needs of shelter, warmth, nourishment, safety, and stability. What other needs does money meet for you? Please comment below.
